My father’s passing was during the treatment for liver cirrhosis at Ernakulam Medical Centre ,Cochin Kerala on Jun *rd **** ; Since the Hospital was reluctant to raise the cashless claim and we have paid all the money and had raised a reimbursement claim months back and the same was rejected from the insurance TPA due to a comment “consumption of alcohol every day “ somewhere in the patient file which is found to be absolutely untruthful . Surprisingly the hospital (PRO)is denying me the specific documents mentioning “consumption of alcohol everyday ‘saying I have no right to see the medical records and only the insurance company can have a copy of it . I really doubt the hospital has some vested interest and helping the Insurance company to reject this claim ,
My prayer is to get a copy of the specific document mentioning this word “consumption of alcohol every day” and to know the reason why the same was mentioned on the records .
