Hi,
I have been traveling in Ola cabs long time. And like all the time I have booked Ola cab from Aravind eye hospital (opp to savitha dental hosp - poonthamalee) to my home velachery around *. And when I booked I didn't get any alert/notifications or so saying it's peak time/less cab around ur area for ur pickup). And once I booked it shown me around *** as estimated amount. But once driver dropped me and I got shocked Abt the amt displayed is about ****rs. Usually from my home(velachery) to Aravind eye hospital it Will take around ***+ in normal time and ***+ to ***+ in heavy traffic time. But I got the amt to pay is ****rs which is really horrible. The actual distance between these * places is **-**km (as per Ola map it shows **km for me). And for this **km they charged around ****rs.when I talk to Ola customer care they directly said no refund can be done.. And they said u were notified in screen Abt less Ola cabs to pick up now and it's peak time but really I didn't get any such notification. I have using Ola for an year I have seen such notifications earlier but not that day which I spend ****rs.if I would have noticed defenitely I would have not opted for it. I would have Hine thro public transport. Normally between these * places it will take max ***. And considering their peak time, blah blah blah thing I can also ready to afford twice that (***+***) and charging **** is not acceptable at all.. I kindly request your help to get Atleast *** rs refund from. Ola if possible.. I have attached the **** charged track record screenshot for reference. Plz help with this case. I'm not that rude in terms of money. In fact I agreed to pay double (which I not acceptable by middle class common ppls) . I hope Ola has to accept this.. Plz help with this case.
