Here is a list of bank holidays in 2025 in India from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025. You can plan banking activities based on this list. But please note that some holidays may not be applicable in every state in India.

All the banks in India follow a schedule of national and government holidays set by the Reserve Bank Of India. However they also observe local holidays depending on the region / state in which the branches are located.

National holidays are also known as Gazetted holidays which are mandatory. These are mandatory holidays declared by the Government of India and apply to every state and union territory in India.
