I purchased a Motorola mobile phone which was under one-year warranty when the issue occurred. While using the device, the touch screen started malfunctioning intermittently and eventually became unusable. This is a functional defect and not related to any cosmetic issue.
I visited an authorised Motorola service centre once and submitted the device for inspection. Later, I was verbally informed that the warranty was denied due to alleged physical damage. However, no diagnostic report, technical findings, photographs, or written justification were provided to me. The job sheet was marked as “out of warranty”, though the device was under warranty.
My repeated requests to receive the diagnostic report and written clarification were ignored. Motorola has only shared generic responses referring to warranty policy links, without explaining how the alleged physical damage is related to the touch screen malfunction. The device was returned to me via courier arranged and paid by me, causing additional expense and inconvenience.
Due to the lack of a working phone, my professional work has been impacted. Despite multiple follow-ups through email and social media, Motorola has failed to provide transparent documentation or a fair warranty evaluation. I believe I have been unfairly denied warranty service and harassed without proper justification.
