Myflowergift.com - Poor customer service and nondelivery

I had placed an order for a flower bouquet and an add-on gift for delivery. i had reviewed the product on the website and had chat with their customer agent too in Whatsapp before placing the order. i finally placed the order and received an email confirmation for the same.

On the day of delivery, i got an email from the customer service stating that additional charge of INR *** is required as the delivery area falls outside their limit of ** kms. i confirmed by return email that i can make the payment, however, i would like to get a time for delivery. since emails take time to resolve, i requested a phone number to call and resolve this.

I called on the number provided, however, the lady on the other end of the call started raising her voice and saying that this is why we don't deliver to guys like you who don't make additional payments. I asked her to calm down and hear me out. I told her the delivery area is only * kms from city center. But she started saying, it is ** kms. i tried clarifying that the area she mentioned is *-* kms further away from me, but she did lower her voice and kept on blaming. I disconnected the call.

this whole experience has spoiled my entire day now.
