Airtel
- No Services from 1 month Closed
SUMIT CHHUTTANI filed this complaint against Airtel on Sep 09, 2017
It's been **+ days but still, there are no Services activated on my Airtel phone. I ported my number from Airtel Maharastra to Airtel Telangana circle. No Incoming calls and No sms services are working on my phone. I am completely disconnected from any banking, government authentication, otp related services, etc.
I have been to Airtel Gachibowli, Hyderabad Store *-* times. They are suggesting every time a different issue and they also took money from me (** for sim+** for frc) at multiple times for replacing sim.
The Store Manager (Anirudh) and their customer service executives (Mohan, Farooq, Kishore) are just trying to predict new problem every time to take money. Store Manager gave me his number but is not replying to any messages and calls.
I escalated the issue to Nodal Officer AP (nodalofficer.andhra@in.airtel.com) and tweeted about the same with @Airtel_Presence but they are also not taking any action.
Few of my registered complaints (reference number: CLSMS************* and CICPL*************) were already resolved by their executives without even confirming whether the issue is resolved or not.
Is this the way Airtel solve customer's query.
Some of the dumb solutions suggested by Airtel executives:
* Try switching on handset multiple times keeping only Airtel SIM in it.
* Try using different handset
* Try going to another circle (State) and then try sending sms or receive calls.
As per trai rule, the only way to port out the number is to get upn (Unique portability number) by sending sms to *****. But since, my sms services are not working, How is it possible for me to port my number to another telecom.
It's been more than ** days and I am not able to use any otp based services, net-banking, online shopping, Aadhar services, etc. I am not going to get my number changed from all these services just because of silly Airtel issue.
Note: For the proof, I have all the email copies, call history details, call recordings with the executives.
I am not attaching any evidence because it contains some personal info.
